"Exhibiting all the various Alterations and Improvements complete to the Present Time".
Published by Edward Mogg in 1837.
With original hand colouring.
Edward Mogg was a publisher in London in the 19th century. He issued maps and travel guides to London and other localities in England and Wales, for the use of visitors and strangers to these areas.
Unlike other publishers, he engraved his own maps, which are accurate and detailed.
He also introduced the London Cab Fare Guide as he had a passion for protecting tourists and travellers from being overcharged by unscrupulous taxi drivers.
This is a good example of his work, and includes his list of the "500 of the Principal Places" in London.
