Homann Heirs was based in Nuremberg from where they published maps and Atlases.
The company was original founded in 1702 by Johann Baptist Homann and was inherited by Homann Heirs in 1724 following the death of Johann's son, Christopher.
The final Heir was Christoper Franz Fembe (1781-1848 ) when the company ceased trading.
