The Henry Grace à Dieu, or "Great Harry," was the largest ship in the world at the time. A 4-masted, 3-decked carrack, often shown with the Tudor rose, royal arms, and the Lord Admiral's flag.The Inscription , "This Print being the Exact Representation of that Capital Ship the Great Harry built at His Majesty's Dock Yard at Woolwich in the Reign of King Henry the 8th Anno 1514..."
The ship was commissioned following the loss of the Regent in 1512 and was the first major vessel built in the new Woolwich yard.
