Slight time staining in outer margin with marginal repairs not effecting image, otherwise good condition.
This lithograph, in which the colossi are bathed in the light of the rising sun reflected on the flooded plain represents the romantic spirit of David Roberts. Where as the floods of the Nile are between My and June where as Roberts visited Thebes in December, 1838.
