Liber III" is an abbreviation for this, The books were written by the Petrus Bertius, the Flemish mathematician and geographer.
The book was published in Amsterdam, with notable editions printed in 1616 and 1632. The prescence of Latin text on the back of the engraving indicates that this engraving is from the 1616 edition.
Petrus Bertius served as a royal cosmographer to King Louis XIII of France and was the brother-in-law of the famous cartographer Jodocus Hondius.
