CARTOONS - BATEMAN

Henry Mayo Bateman (15 February 1887 - 11 February 1970
British humorous artist and cartoonist, noted for his "The Man Who" series of cartoons, featuring comically exaggerated reactions to minor and usually upper-class social gaffes. Throughout the 20s and 30s the popularity of "The Man Who" series raised his status to that of the highest paid and most copied humorist of the time.
