GEBIL HOR. MARCH 5TH 1839
The evening before he entered Petra Roberts climbed one of the high hills in order to get a distant view of the city. In this he was disappointed since he found himself surrounded by hills with only the view of Aaron's tomb on Mount Hor set between the wadis Ghor and Arabah. However, he considered that the climb was well worth the view that he did get.
